'Should I Stay Or Should I Go’ - Sound City+
Andy headed to Liverpool last Friday for the Sound City+ conference, kickstarting the two-day Sound City Festival taking place at four major venues across the city. This is a unique event - including live debates, Q&A sessions and focussed discussion, with AIM (Association of Independent Music) bringing together influential delegates from around the globe to collaborate and offer insight into the future of the industry.
Covering not only artists’ perspectives, but labels and management, every topic imaginable is covered, from gender equality and safe spaces, utilising streaming and social media to perfection, to touring challenges imposed by Brexit (with Andy offering his expertise on this topic).
Whether an industry veteran or carving out first steps in a fledgling music career, this annual event is a melting pot of learning resources with a relaxed and fun vibe.
